Welcome to The Little Gate. By using our website or purchasing a Little Gate subscription, you agree to the following terms.

Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.

1. About The Little Gate

The Little Gate is a monthly Australian snail mail subscription. Each month, subscribers receive a carefully curated letter and a selection of seasonal, garden-inspired goodies.

The contents of each month's mail may vary. While we aim to provide the items described or shown, individual colours, designs, illustrations, seeds and other included items may vary depending on availability.

2. Subscriptions

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to an ongoing monthly payment for The Little Gate until you cancel your subscription.

Your subscription will renew automatically each month using your selected payment method.

The monthly subscription cut-off is the 8th of each month.

Cancellations made before the 1st will prevent that month's shipment and are eligible for a refund.

Cancellations made on or after the 1st will apply to future months only. The current month's subscription will still be processed and shipped and is not eligible for a change-of-mind refund.

3. Payments

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

By subscribing, you authorise The Little Gate or our payment provider to charge your nominated payment method for the applicable subscription fee.

If a payment fails, we may be unable to send your monthly mail until payment has been successfully received.

We reserve the right to change our subscription price. If the price of your subscription changes, you will be notified before the new price applies to your next payment.

4. Shipping & Delivery

The Little Gate currently ships within Australia.

We aim to send each month's mail as scheduled; however, delivery times are dependent on Australia Post or other postal services and are outside of our control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If your Little Gate mail is lost in transit, please contact us. We will work with you to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, send a replacement at no additional cost.

5. Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address at the time of purchase.

If you provide an incorrect address and your mail is returned to us, we may ask you to cover the cost of reshipping the item.

If your address has changed, please ensure your subscription details are updated before the monthly shipping cut-off. Please send an email to admin@littlegate.com

6. Our Products

The Little Gate may contain items such as letters, printed materials, recipes, gardening guides, seeds, stickers, and other garden-inspired items.

Some items may be handmade or produced in small quantities, meaning there may be slight variations between individual orders.

Where seeds or gardening-related information are included, this information is provided for general and recreational purposes only. Growing results can vary depending on climate, soil, growing conditions and individual circumstances.

7. Intellectual Property

All content created for The Little Gate, including but not limited to:

• illustrations and artwork

• letters and written content

• gardening guides

• recipes

• photographs

• graphics and designs

• branding, logos and trademarks

• website content

belongs to The Little Gate or is used with permission.

You may enjoy and use the materials provided as part of your personal subscription, but you may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, copy or commercially use our content without written permission.

8. Website Use

You agree to use The Little Gate website lawfully and respectfully.

You must not use the website to:

• interfere with the operation or security of the website;

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;

• copy or reproduce our website content without permission; or

• use our content, branding or products for commercial purposes without our permission.

9. Availability

We do our best to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, product availability, pricing, subscription contents and shipping dates may occasionally change.

We reserve the right to modify, replace or discontinue products or services where reasonably necessary.

If we are unable to fulfil an order that you have already paid for, we will contact you and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Little Gate is not responsible for losses or delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, natural disasters, technical failures or incorrect information provided by the customer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product or service does not meet the consumer guarantees that apply to your purchase, you may have rights to a repair, replacement or refund.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to The Little Gate, our services or legal requirements.

Any updated terms will be published on this website and will apply from the date they are posted.
